PEN TRAY

A beautiful contrast of materials—acrylic and bentwood—defines this pen tray, the perfect place for writing instruments and small essentials. The wooden frame on the rim of the tray is a product of meticulous handcraft, finished using the traditional woodworking technique known as hiki-mage (kerf bending). Its unpainted, natural texture harmonizes beautifully with the lustrous acrylic and its featured patterns or illustrations, creating an impression that is both soft and playful.

The selection features five distinct styles: the simple "clear," the playful geometric patterns of "gmt" and "bou," and the beautifully illustrated "white rabbit" and "white swan."

Among these, the "white rabbit" and "white swan" are collaborations with renowned illustrator Ryuto Miyake. Each stroke captures the fine detail of their fur, with the illustrations thoughtfully composed to enhance even the shadows cast beneath the tray.
